Ms. Breit is resident of Wallingford, a member of Congregation Ohev Shalom, and a health care professional with over 35 years of administrative and clinical experience focusing on organizational issues related to diversity, state and federal regulations, and program development. Ms. Breit’s talents from being an occupational therapist enable her to identify, and create solutions to address challenges of various natures. As a member of the FUSE Steering Committee, Ms. Breit provides coordination for some administrative and outreach efforts including the fiscal operations of FUSE. Her goal is to help our communities engage together, learn from each other, and “expand the fences” between people of all types.

Clyde Killebrew Jr. was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1947.  He was educated in the Philadelphia Public Schools.  Attended Temple University, Philadelphia, PA,  School of Liberal Arts and graduated in 1971 with a degree in Liberal Arts.  Attended Cheyney University, Cheyney, PA, Masters Program in Education. From 1970 through 2005, he has worked as a Human Resources Manager, Equal Employment Opportunity Manager and Management Consultant for companies such as the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Carpenter Technology Corporation and Certainteed Saint-Gobain.   Since 2005, he has been a resident of Chester, PA and has been active in community projects primarily involved with education and social justice.

Rabbi Linda Potemken has served as the spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Israel of Media since 1997. She has been adjunct faculty at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, executive board member of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association and the Philadelphia Board of Rabbis and a contributor to A Guide to Jewish Practice: Everyday Living (RRC Press). Rabbi Linda is committed to building community, relationships and a caring and just society.  She enjoys teaching Torah and working with people across the life cycle. Her background includes counseling, theater and social action.]Rabbi Linda has been recognized for her work on behalf of immigrants, refugees and the disabled. She is proud to serve the vibrant Beth Israel community and honored to serve on the FUSE steering committee.  Rabbi Linda is the proud mother of a teen, the daughter of an octogenarian and a relative newlywed.

Rev. Peter Friedrichs is the pastor of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County in Media. He has served the church since 2006, the year of his ordination. Before entering the ministry he practiced law for nearly 20 years in Portland, Maine. He and his wife Irene live in Swarthmore, and they are the proud grandparents of three boys, ages 6, 4, and 3.

Rev. François Lacroix is the Pastor, Head of Staff, of the Wallingford Presbyterian Church, Wallingford, PA. François was born in Belgium and immigrated to the United States as a child. He grew up in Miami Beach, Florida and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Performance. Theological studies were at McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago IL., culminating with a Master of Divinity Degree. Rev. Lacroix served in the United States Navy Chaplain Corps with assignments in the United States and Canada. He served congregations in Tennessee, New York, Texas and Pennsylvania. In addition to responsibilities with the Presbytery of Philadelphia Rev. Lacroix is the Moderator/convener of the Interfaith Council of Southern Delaware County.

Antoinette has 37 years of experience in the lending industry and in community and economic development. She was introduced to community involvement as a child by her parents and continued the pattern into adulthood, working with young people in various capacities through the Girl Scouts of Delaware County, her church and other community organizations.  The world of Community and Economic Development opened up for her in 1994 when Antoinette began serving the low/moderate income communities of Philadelphia and the surrounding counties as the Community Development Officer for Jefferson Bank. It soon became evident to her that this was not a profession, but a ministry, and other opportunities to help the community soon followed. Antoinette began volunteering on various outreach projects with her church and other non-profit organizations and serving on the boards and advisory committees of organizations such as the Media Fellowship House (MFH) and the Delaware County Family and Community Services (DCFCS).  In February 2000, MFH’s board of directors offered her the executive director position, which she accepted. Antoinette’s commitment to promoting economic opportunities for low and moderate-income people brought her to ENTREPRENEUR WORKS FUND (formerly known as Philadelphia Development Partnership) in August 2004.  In July 2005, she assumed the Managing Director position of the Delaware County office (formerly known as Chester Microenterprise Partnership.)   Antoinette resides in Yeadon, PA with her husband.  She continues to follow the example set by her parents by creating and promoting social justice and community and economic development in the Delaware Valley area and beyond through programs and outreach activities as an ordained minister at The Chapel of the Good Shepherd, with Entrepreneur Works Fund and as a board or advisory member of various community organizations such as the Re-entry Policy Workgroup Council, Fellowship of Urban and Suburban Engagement, Lansdowne Economic Development Corp. and Chester Business Association.

Rabbi Jeremy Gerber is the rabbi of Congregation Ohev Shalom in Wallingford, PA, where he has served since 2009. Rabbi Gerber grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, before moving to the United States for college. He was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) in New York City, from which he also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Talmud & Rabbinics and a Master’s Degree in Jewish Education. He also has a BA in Anthropology from Columbia University. Rabbi Gerber is an associate chaplain at Widener University and at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. He is an active member of the Interfaith Council of Southern Delaware County, and is very proud to be a founding member of FUSE. Rabbi Gerber lives in Wallingford with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children, Caroline and Max.

Cory Long, A native of Chester and longtime youth and community organizer and advocate. Cory graduated from Chester High School in 1993 and spent the next 10 years building a successful career as an entertainment industry Dj and promotor which included a regional radio station Power 99fm and national tours with Eve, Funk Flex, and BET appearances. In 2003 Cory decided to reroute that career to help his disadvantaged hometown of Chester PA, where his desire was to “Make A Change”. While developing his youth mentoring program, Team Mac, while contracted by The City of Chester for recreation, violence prevention initiatives and community relations from 2007-2013. Cory has since developed a 501c3 nonprofit, The Making A Change Group. The MAC Group coordinates The Fellowship of Urban Suburban Engagement (FUSE) and continues to run its Team Mac Mentoring Programs, partner with neighboring schools, community groups, and houses of worship to provide community outreach initiatives.

Rev. Sarah Cooper Searight is the Associate Pastor for Outreach Ministry, Congregational Care, and Worship Coordination at Swarthmore Presbyterian Church in Swarthmore, PA. Sarah was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and attended college at Austin College in Sherman, TX where she earned her BA in Psychology. Sarah went on to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary, in Decatur, GA. Sarah has served communities and congregations in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Atlanta, GA, Philadelphia, PA, and Shreveport, LA before arriving in Swarthmore, where she has been serving now for three years. She is an active member of the Interfaith Council of Southern Delaware County as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the Untours Foundation. Sarah lives in Rose Valley, PA with her husband, Bill, and their daughters Maggie and Ella.
